ShowNet Videography

Kentucky Horse Park - Lexington, KY

Contract videography at National Hunter Jumper horse competitions. I shot hundreds of videos, all uploaded to the ShowNet site for their customers to watch horse shows across the country from any location. It was 10 hour shoots in all kinds of weather while maintaining a consistent quality of dynamic, detailed shots.

Eastern Kentucky: Appalachian Spring

My First Short Film

To begin, I completed a successful Kickstarter campaign to help fund my nature documentary, Eastern Kentucky: Appalachian Spring. The film was selected by the UPIKE Film & Media Arts festival, Louisville International Festival of Film, and Docs Without Borders, where it earned an award for excellence in cinematography. Commercial for a spa in Bowling Green, KY. Also did photography while I was there and my photo was used to advertise for them in a local magazine.

Multiple roles in student projects at WKU (I don't own the files to post here) including sound recorder on "Do Not Push", co-produced by John Carpenter. Other roles included producer, production manager, and casting crew.

At WKU I received a grant to attend the Americana Music Festival/Conference in Nashville where I learned about the music industry, focusing on how that pertains to film. There I networked and found an internship opportunity that led to live music video work.

Rental Properties

A family interest in owning rental property led me to owning an selling several pieces of my own. It has taught me management skills while supplementing my income so I can follow my film career.

Giguana Videographer

Videographer working for the Nashville branch of Giguana, who markets and connects with musicians for live video footage. Responsible for representing the company with professionalism, operating a camera, and connecting with the client.

Experience sound recording with a boom mic and zoom recorder with a sheet listing all the takes of audio making, also listening and problem solving for unwanted sounds like an air conditioner humming. I have also been a production manager and assistant director.


Wishlist: a better external screen for my camera like a Ninja, better lights like Kinos, a remote slider, a DSLR gimbal, and of course more lenses.
